Apparently it doesn't brick your device, only puts it in recovery mode until you restore the stock ROM. Still doesn't sound appealing though.

And I'm surprised that's still included in the warranty haha.
Probably if you did that to a device with eFuse, it might well be void because the manufacturer will know you'd tampered with it.
