Yeah I wasn't talking about free hosts haha. When I set up a site on some of the free host sites, they either restricted some key components (such as MySQL databases), added a bot tracker to my pages, or took my site down without warning! They generally don't delegate that many resources to free hosting sites even if the site also has paid hosting, so sites on free services tend to run slower.

No... Well, I had just moved to that host from another one, so I still had the old backup from a few days ago. I'd added another page while on the new host though, and lost that one. They never told me anything and the status on the user panel still showed the site being online

Weird Well paid hosts are better, that's for sure But the question is, shared hosting, dedicated server, or something else?
